Industrial halls with demands on structural design and floor loading

Industrial halls are designed for what they will hold. Machinery, crane systems, industrial trucks, every use places its own demands on floor loading, storey height and load-bearing structure. We bring the use-specific requirements into the planning early, so that the building does not run up against its limits after just three years.

Typically we use composite steel-and-concrete structures with generous spans, so that as few internal columns as possible obstruct the movement of the equipment.

Commercial halls with an office portion

Many commercial properties combine a hall for workshop, storage or showroom with an office area. We plan the two uses so that they do not interfere with each other. Separate entrances, dedicated acoustic protection, individual heating and ventilation circuits. The transitions between the areas are resolved architecturally cleanly, rather than partitioned off after the fact.

Storage halls and logistics

Storage halls call above all for efficiency. Short distances, clear heights, easily accessible loading doors. We align the hall with the storage equipment, design the floor slab for heavy-duty racking and make sure that heating, lighting and fire protection do not require retrofits later.

Planning and approval in Luxembourg

We coordinate the permit procedure and align with the municipality, the environmental authority and the ITM (Inspection du Travail et des Mines).
